What is Refractive Surgery?
If you have a refractive error, such as nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), astigmatism or presbyopia, refractive surgery is a method for correcting or improving your vision.
Refractive Surgery & Procedures
There are various diagnostic and surgical procedures for correcting or adjusting your eye’s focusing ability by reshaping the cornea (clear, round dome at the front of your eye). Other procedures involve implanting a lens inside your eye to correct your vision.

We offer PRK, LASIK, Refractive Lens Exchange, LRI-Limbal Relaxing Incisions for Astigmatism and enhancements for previous Lasik patients. We can fit contact lenses for previous RK or Lasik patients too.

Let Dr. Newman share his 30+ years of experience and determine a custom treatment plan for you. He has been involved with refractive surgery since its inception with RK (radial keratotomy) in the early 80’s. He has a passion for visual correction in the safest way possible. Having seen the evolution of refractive surgery, avoiding and reducing complications are his top priority.
